Blue Sky Vineyard – Makanda, IL
Blue Sky is simply breathtaking. The stonework, the soft hills, the rows of grapevines — it’s like stepping into a little European dream right here in our backyard. It’s peaceful, romantic, and the golden light out there is just something special. I always love shooting here, especially for couples who want something elegant but still warm and relaxed.
Southern Illinois University (SIU) Campus – Carbondale, IL
SIU has so much charm and variety. From ivy-covered walls to open walkways lined with trees, every corner of campus has its own feel. Whether you went to school here or are just drawn to the classic architecture and soft natural light, it’s a quiet, beautiful spot for photos that feel timeless.
Feather Hills Vineyard and Winery – Cobden, IL
This one has a cozy, laid-back vibe that I absolutely love. The vineyard views, the open skies, and the way the light filters in at sunset make it a perfect place for soft, joyful photos. There’s a calmness to this space that makes people feel instantly at ease, and that always shows in the images.
Giant City State Park – Makanda, IL
